| Our company is the Asia/Pacific Regional Office of the New York and London based Mountbatten Institute. The organisation sponsors and administers international practical training programmes in London and New York and encourages the international work experience of graduate professionals to support the global economy. Founded in 1984, we have provided one year training programmes in New York and London to thousands of young professionals. Today we place some 500 university graduates in these two programmes annually. All interns also undertake academic study including the MBA degree or the Post Graduate Certificate in International Business Practice (awarded by St. Mary's University College, Twickenham, London). The Mountbatten Institute has three Regional Offices across the world staffed by some 40 full-time employees and a faculty of over 50 part-time lecturers. Live, Work and Study for a Year
in New York or London
The Mountbatten Institute is now accepting applications for a life-changing experience in one of the world’s most exciting cities, either London or New York, combining a year's paid internship with an academic qualification that will not only strengthen your career profile but also develop your interpersonal skills and make you stand out from the crowd.
This unique opportunity could be yours if you are:
- Normally aged between 22-28;
- A university graduate with relevant qualifications and work experience;
- Fluent in English – speaking & writing;
- Ready to begin your year in March or August 2012.
The Mountbatten Institute provides recent graduates and young professionals with international business experience through one-year paid internships in either London or New York with sponsor companies ranging from large multinationals to small firms. The internships reflect different fields but especially finance, accounting, HR, marketing and communications, IT, non-profit and law.
In conjunction with the full-time internship, participants pursue a postgraduate qualification. The academic qualification places experience in context by allowing participants to draw upon, integrate, and apply their studies to the practical experience of their employment. The Institute offers either the Postgraduate Certificate or MBA in International Business Practice, awarded by St Mary's University College, London.
For those who pursue the MBA, the degree includes an intensive field study in Bangkok, Thailand following the year in New York or London. During this field study, MBA candidates build upon the knowledge and skills developed abroad with particular emphasis given to Asia's role in the global economy.
